How do I create an account?
Visit portal.ainsgigs.com and click 'Get Started Free'. Enter your name, email, and a strong password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account. Once verified, complete your profile and start browsing gigs or offering your services.

What are your platform fees?
AinsGigs charges a flat 10% service fee on completed orders, deducted from the freelancer's payout. Clients pay exactly the listed gig price — no buyer fees. An additional ₦100 flat fee applies to NGN withdrawals to Nigerian bank accounts.

When will I receive my payment?
After completing an order and receiving client approval, funds are added to your wallet. You can withdraw to your Nigerian bank account (₦100 fee) or international payment methods. Payments are processed securely via Flutterwave.

What currencies do you support?
We support NGN (Nigerian Naira), USD (US Dollar), EUR (Euro), GBP (British Pound), GHS (Ghanaian Cedi), KES (Kenyan Shilling), and ZAR (South African Rand). You can set your gig prices in any supported currency.

How does KYC verification work?
Upload a government-issued ID (passport, driver's licence, or national ID) and take a selfie for liveness verification. Our team manually reviews each submission within 24–48 hours. Verified users receive a badge and higher transaction limits.

Is my payment information secure?
Yes! All payments are processed through Flutterwave, a PCI-DSS compliant processor. We use escrow protection — funds are held until work is approved. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

How do I create a gig?
Go to Dashboard → Create Gig. Fill in your service details, pricing, delivery time, and requirements. Add portfolio images to showcase your work. A Pro subscription is required to publish gigs.

Can I offer services in multiple categories?
Yes! With a Pro subscription, you can create gigs across different categories. Each gig can have its own pricing, delivery time, and requirements.

What is the Pro subscription?
Pro subscription ($3/month or $30/year) gives you a public profile link, priority placement in search results, the ability to publish gigs and post job requests, and advanced search filters. It auto-renews and can be cancelled anytime from your profile settings.

How do I hire a freelancer?
Browse gigs or freelancer profiles, check ratings and reviews, then click 'Order Now'. Fill in your requirements, make payment via Flutterwave, and start communicating with the freelancer through our secure messaging system.

What if I'm not satisfied with the work?
Request revisions based on the gig's revision policy. If the freelancer doesn't deliver as promised, open a dispute within the order page. Our team will review and mediate fairly within 3–5 business days.

How long does it take to complete an order?
Delivery time varies by gig and is set by the freelancer. Check the gig details before ordering. Most gigs range from 1–7 days. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Can I cancel an order?
Yes, but cancellation policies vary. Contact the freelancer first to resolve any issues. If work hasn't started, they may agree to cancel. For disputes, use our dispute resolution system from within the order page.

How do I delete my account?
Contact our support team through the Help Center. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Ensure all active orders are completed and funds are withdrawn before requesting deletion.

What happens when I reach ₦90,000 in pending transactions?
You'll automatically qualify for free KYC verification. We'll notify you via email and SMS, and you can complete the process directly from your profile settings. Verification unlocks higher earning and withdrawal limits.

Is verification mandatory?
Verification is only required if your pending gig/withdrawal value exceeds ₦50,000. For regular freelancing below this threshold, it's optional — but recommended for building client trust and unlocking higher limits.

What's the difference between Gigs and Jobs?
Gigs are pre-packaged services sold by freelancers at a fixed price, with payment through Flutterwave escrow. Jobs are client requests posted by Pro subscribers where freelancers can apply and negotiate terms directly.
